Senior Manager, Data Translator (40001656)
Job Purpose
Job Holder will:
- Responsible to manage & keep improving team peformance by standardize processes, templates.
- Ensure human resources effectively serve the needs from related units & collaborate with external parties on resource provision to keep sufficient service.
- Frame-out the functional compentencies for Data Translator then applied within function
- Take lead in maintaining the know-how, knowledge repository and keep enrichment to empower team capabilities.
- Develop & retain talents within the function & keep team motivation
Key Accountabilities (1)
A. Research & Analysis
- Define & apply functional compentencies for whole data translator function which leveraging team capacity.
- Encourage team & contribute ideas on data products serving the Bank
- Stay up-to-date with Data & Cloud technology changes, changing trends, then applying on gathered data sets to provide holistic information to stakeholders.
- Identify business process improvement opportunities by leveraging the organization's data to drive business solutions.
- Take lead in building-up knowledge repository for whole Data Product
Key Accountabilities (2)
B. Stakeholders collaboration & management
- Collaborate with POs to allocate effectively Human data translator resources in related projects.
- Get alignment with POs, Technical team on the scope, backlog and roadmap of delivering products.
- Support members to remove impediments & communication
- Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at high performance.
- Associate with Outsource units and Build-up effective collaboration methods to increase Data translator human resources when needed.

- Attract, onboard and retain the right talents for a high-performing team
- Communicate team and individual KRAs/ KPIs, goals, action plan, expectations and results to team members
- Manage team performance & provide feedback regularly (following the annual performance management cycle);
- Enable team member’s professional and personal development through capability assessment, training, coaching & feedback, etc.
- Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions towards the team’s shared goals
- Responsible for developing talents within the team
- Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at sub-function level
- Understand & communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering or business administration
Work Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in financial institutions and 4 years in a management position
- Minimum 3 years of handed-on experience in Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), especially for AWS. Experience in Cloud Powerful Platform - Data Brick is big plus
- Experience in identifying potential problems and risks by conducting gap analysis, understanding and reviewing criteria
- Experience in building-up comprehensive applicable Framework (Process, Templates, Guidelines...) within big corporates
- Experience in Agile Software Development and has a strong understanding of Agile principles, practices and
scrum methodology
