Key Accountabilities (1)

I. Responsibility:

- Model Development - Design and implement ML/deep learning models using open-source frameworks (e.g. DeepSeek, Llama), optimizing for performance and scalability.

- Data Analysis: Extract insights from large datasets to inform business strategies and product development.

- Research : Stay updated on AI trends (e.g., NLP, computer vision) and apply cutting-edge techniques, DeepSeek’s latest advancements.

- Training & mentorship : Conduct internal workshop/training to upskill Finance in adoption of machine learning, data science and generative AI

- Data Management: Managing, designing, and maintaining complex data management scenarios in the capacity of Data Architect/Data scientist

- Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production systems.

- Maintain clear records of methodologies and present findings to stakeholders.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

II. Requirements

Core:

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Data Science - must have

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - must have

- Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch). – must have

- Sound knowledge of building data pipelines, datasets, and data architecture from raw and unstructured data – must have

- Demonstrated proficiency in modern analytics, reporting and visualization solutions (such as PowerBI, Python) – must have

- Demonstrated proficiency with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop). – must have for experienced candidate

- Experience in NLP, computer vision, or generative AI. – must have for experienced candidate

- Skilled in data modeling and governance models and making them a reality in a large cooperation – must have for experienced candidate

Preferred & extended consideration:

- Preferred Technical Data background: 3+ years in data science, with >1+ years using demonstrated application and/or development of GenAI/ML (including but not limited to Open AI, DeepSeek, LLaMA models) platforms & tools.

- Grads with experience as “Lab tutor” will have advantage/priority

- Experience in Banking and Finance

- Strong Interest in the trend analytics, Financial & Management Reporting in banking domain is a plus

- Knowledge of MLOps practices and open-source contributions.

- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
