Job Purpose
- Perform analysis, design, and support the implementation of reinsurance programs as assigned; provide technical analysis and professional recommendations to optimize risk protection, reinsurance costs, and portfolio efficiency
Key Accountabilities (1)
1. Analysis & Proposal of Reinsurance Programs
- Analyze risk portfolios, loss history, and retention levels as assigned to assess reinsurance needs for each line of business/product.
- Participate in the development, review, and adjustment of reinsurance program structures (treaty and facultative) to ensure alignment with risk profiles and business plans.
- Evaluate the impact of reinsurance options on reinsurance costs, protection levels, and financial efficiency, providing a basis for professional recommendations.

2. Support for Business & Operational Decisions
- Provide reinsurance analysis and professional opinions to Underwriting, Product, and Business teams for assigned transactions or products.
- Participate in the assessment of large-scale or unique risks to ensure operational decisions align with existing reinsurance capabilities.
- Coordinate with relevant units to clarify risk assumptions and acceptance limits.
3. Professional Exchange with the Reinsurance Market
- Prepare submissions, technical data, and analytical documents for discussions with reinsurers and brokers.
- Participate in technical discussions with the reinsurance market as assigned, receive feedback, and consolidate market proposals.
- Analyze and compare reinsurance options from the market to propose suitable selections to superiors.
4. Loss Analysis & Reinsurance Claims Recovery
- Participate in the analysis of major or unusual losses, assessing their impact on the reinsurance program.
- Support the handling of reinsurance claims recovery files, monitor progress, and coordinate to resolve operational issues.
- Propose improvements to reinsurance terms or structures based on actual loss experience.
5. Standardization & Knowledge Sharing
- Participate in the development and updating of operational documents, guidelines, and standardized data to support reinsurance activities.
- Provide professional guidance to Senior Officers/Officers in operational tasks and basic analyses.
- Contribute to improving the quality and consistency of reinsurance practices across the entire portfolio.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
Qualifications:
- University graduate or higher in the following majors: Insurance, Finance, Mathematics – Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, or related fields.
- Preference will be given to candidates with professional certifications in insurance/reinsurance (ACII, ARe, CPCU, Actuarial foundation, basic CFA/FRM level, etc.).
- Foreign language (English): As per the Company's regulations.
- University graduate or higher in the following majors: Insurance, Finance, Mathematics – Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, or related fields.
- Preference will be given to candidates with professional certifications in insurance/reinsurance (ACII, ARe, CPCU, Actuarial foundation, basic CFA/FRM level, etc.).

Professional experience:
- At least 8 years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance field, with a preference for non-life insurance.
- Practical experience in implementing and operating reinsurance programs (treaty and/or facultative) for one or more lines of business.
- Experience in preparing submissions, technical data, and working with reinsurers/brokers at the operational level.
- Experience in coordinating with Underwriting, Claims, Risk, and Actuarial teams in transactions or cases involving reinsurance elements.
- Proficient in reinsurance terms, program structures, and claims recovery processes.
- Ability to analyze risk data, losses, and evaluate trade-offs between risk protection levels and reinsurance costs.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have participated in handling major losses or complex risks under the guidance of leadership.
