Job Purpose

Enable Business Agility through driving end-to-end Agile transformation and promoting bankwide adoption of Agile

Key Accountabilities (1)

Enabling Agility 

1. Analyze situations, identify strategic goals, organizational leverages & impediments to propose appropriate Agile transformation.
2. Help set up effective Agile organization: people, work, process, tools, as per Agile values & principles, considering organizational constraints. 
3. Enable & facilitate transparency, inspection & adaptation at all levels: team, multi-teams, initiative, program, etc. (incl. metrics, indicators, dashboard, reports, etc.) 
4. Drive continuous improvement by assessing team maturity, proposing improvement plans, training & coaching to uplift them to the next level.   

Key Accountabilities (2)

Enabling Performance 

1. Adopt appropriate stances for Agile teams: Trainer, Mentor, Coach, Facilitator, Leader, Manager, Change Agent, Impediment Remover.
2. Coach Product Owners, Product Managers on Agile product management, maximizing the product value from the work of Agile teams.
3. Coach Agile teams on effective collaboration, continuous improvement (e.g., DOR, DOD) and/or Agile engineering best practices (e.g., TDD, ATDD, CICD).
4. Coach managers on empowering people, enabling & nurturing self-managing & high performing teams.

1. Collaborate with key stakeholders to remove organizational impediments & unleash performance. 
2. Optimize business value, impact of product / features delivered by Agile programs.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

- Bachelor or Master degree in Banking, Finance, Technology, Business Administration, Information technology or related disciplines. 
- Professional Scrum certificates, e.g., A-CSM, CSP-SM or PSM II, PSM III. Other Coaching certificates like ICP-ACC, ICE-AC, CAL, PAL, etc. is a plus.
- 12 years of experience in corporate, preferably banking or fin-tech organization.
- Experienced in coaching & scaling Agile for team, multi-teams, program, divisional, enterprise level, using LeSS, Nexus, Scrum at Scale, Disciplined Agile, etc. 
- Well-versed in major Agile frameworks, e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP, DevOps. 
- Experienced in change management, organizational transformation. 
- Experienced in training, coaching, mentoring different roles in Agile organizations, e.g., Product Owner, Scrum Master, Designer, Developer, Tester, Manager.
- Experienced in assessing Agile maturity at all levels, suggesting improvement areas, and driving changes. 
- Be team player, a servant leader with strong facilitation, conflict resolution, communication, motivation, interpersonal skills. 
- Familiar with Agile engineering best practices (e.g., TDD, ATDD, CICD) and common tools, e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQ.
