Senior Application Operations (Techcom Life)

Job Purpose

The Application Operations Expert is responsible for managing the overall operations of applications and services including but not limited to payment channels, Contact Center… to meet the needs and business requirements of the corporate.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure continuity through the application operations process

- Directly participate in implementing changes and reporting to stakeholders at key milestones

- Implement tools, changes to simplify, automate, centralize system operations.

- Work with stakeholders to enhance processes and delivery quality while minimizing the resources required.

Application Operations

- Directly implement related items in the proposed roadmap and ensure compliance with appropriate timelines and checkpoints.

- Support and Takeover Project

- Implement and manage Change Requests to minimize impact on system operations

Application Operations Objectives

- Responsible for application operations and technical support, including daily application deployment and maintenance, issue and incident management

- Regular system checks (Quick Checks, Health Checks)

- Support L2 technical issues

- Monitor key systems for anomalies

- Support PCI DSS gaps and risks resolution

- Perform EOD batch processing if required by specific service

- Performance maintenance tasks for IT systems (archiving, backups, support/maintenance contract renewals, etc.)

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development and minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in application operations

- Preference for candidates with working knowledge of DevOps, Kubernetes and Container

- Working knowledge of Automation in operations, playbooks (e.g. Ansible, jenkins ...)

- Experience working with cloud environments is required

- Hands-on experience in Application operations and technical support

- Experience working with application operations tools (AM, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, EFK ...).

- Understanding of Agile principles, practices and Scrum methodologies for application operations

- Experience working in Agile teams to support projects launched in JIRA and Confluence
