Officer, HR Generalist (Techcom Insurance)

Job Purpose

'As an Officer, HR Generalist support the HR Business Partner team in various administrative tasks and initiatives to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. The incumbent will assist in the coordination of HR activities, maintain HR records, and provide administrative support to employees. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to gain foundational experience in HR.

Key Accountabilities (1)

1. HR Operations 

Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in both physical and digital formats, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
Prepare and administer employment-related documentation, including labor contracts, appendices, probation confirmation letters, staff movement letters, and other HR correspondence.
Support the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR filing systems, employee databases, and HR processes.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire documentation, employee orientation, exit interviews, and separation procedures.
Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and administrative matters.
Assist in monitoring compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and internal HR procedures.
Prepare workforce reports, recruitment reports, employee data analysis, and ad-hoc reports required by management.
Provide administrative and operational support to the HR team as the organization develops its HR infrastructure and working processes.

Key Accountabilities (2)

2. Talent Acquisition

Manage end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, offering, and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, workforce planning, and recruitment priorities.
Coordinate and facilitate interviews, candidate assessments, and feedback collection.
Prepare recruitment reports and analysis on hiring progress, recruitment effectiveness, and market insights.
Maintain recruitment databases and ensure candidate records are updated accurately.

Key Accountabilities (3)

3. HR Projects & Employee Engagement

Support implementation of HR projects and initiatives aligned with business and people objectives.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.
Perform other duties and projects assigned by the HR Manager/HRBP.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

- At least 1 years of experience in HR or related function. Fresh graduates with Prior administrative or HR internship experience, with strong potential might be considered.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge on HRIS systems will be highly advantageous.
