Head of Business Finance (Life insurance Project)
Job Purpose
The job holder responsible for:
'Perform management function; financial planning and analysis for business units / divisions in the life insurance company on the principle of consistent synchronization with the principles and requirements of the Finance department. At the same time, optimize the planning practices; Financial management and analysis for business units/blocks
Key Accountabilities (1)
1. Setting goals; planning
+ Collaborate with business units/units and Finance to build/set goals:
• Long-term overall goals/plans (5 years)
• Annual goals/plans
• Goals of projects/initiatives and customer journeys
+ Forecasting business results of business units/units periodically
+ Ensure consistency and synchronization between divisions/units and Finance in building planning goals
2. Manage and measure the results of the implementation of the goals
+ Measure the results of the implementation of the goal (1) above
+ Ensure the measurement of results is consistent in Finance; strategy and whole line
Key Accountabilities (2)
3. Administration and operation of planning/goal development and result measurement
+ Ensure consistency and synchronization in principle; method; the process between Finance and the division/units in the whole row in:
• Develop an annual target plan; and periodically during the year (if any)
• Forecasting (Regularly during the year)
• Analysis of financial results of blocks/units in the whole row
• Measure achievement of goals
+ Towards the digitization and automation of parts
Key Accountabilities (3)
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Oversee human resources planning and execution (headcount & costs) of their function
- Attract, onboard and retain the right talents for a high- performing team
- Establish and communicate function and individual KRAs/ KPIs, goals, action plan, expectations and results to reporting line
- Manage function performance & provide feedback regularly (following the annual performance management cycle);
- Define team’s capability requirements and enable team member’s professional and personal development through capability assessment, training, coaching & feedback, mentoring, etc.
- Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions towards the team’s shared goals
- Identify and monitor personal, professional development and career advancement of talents in the function
- Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at function level
- Understand & communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
- Have a university degree or MBA in Economics; Finance; Bank; Data Science or related fields. Accredited Professional Finance Certificate
- 14 years of experience in the field of Finance; Financial analysis/Data in the banking industry; financial services or FinTech. Experience includes aspects:
- In charge of the management role in the field of financial accounting và financial analysis.
- Knowledge of data management; data architecture
- Experience in construction and planning; set a budget
- Experience in building financial models
- Experience in building and managing performance indicators
- Experience in building reporting and analysis systems
- Experience in developing business policies/programs and operating procedures at enterprises
- Experience and knowledge in the financial services industry
- Understanding in exploiting and using report building software tools such as Qlick, Tableau, PowerBI
- Understanding in technology platforms and systems
- Project management experience
- Experience and understanding of change management
- 10 years experience in team management
- English: minimum TOEIC 700 or equivalent
