Key Accountabilities (1)

  • Develop and implement strategic workforce plans aligned with business objectives, ensuring a data-driven approach that informs decision-making and optimizes talent management.
  • Utilise advanced analytical skills and tools to conduct descriptive and diagnostic people analytics, providing clear insights into workforce trends and challenges.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including People Analytics and HR Leadership Teams to identify root causes of workforce issues, translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Apply structured methodologies for analytical storytelling and change management, facilitating impactful organisational transformation through evidence-based strategies.
  • Create executive-level reporting that combines compelling narratives with sophisticated data visualisations, crafted through expert presentation design and storytelling techniques.
  • Continuously enhance reporting accuracy and effectiveness through agile feedback cycles and iterative improvements, striving for excellence in communication and data presentation.
  • Lead high-level presentations and discussions with senior leaders, steering analytical conversations that influence strategic HR initiatives and organisational development.

  • Promote and shape the evolving People Analytics vision by incorporating emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance data maturity within HR.
  • Champion a culture that values analytical rigor and data-driven decision-making, supporting HR initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Information Systems teams to optimise data collection processes, maintain data integrity, and leverage technology to support comprehensive workforce analysis.
  • Conduct sophisticated analyses to uncover patterns and trends within people data, providing insights that guide talent strategies and organisational planning.
  • Design and deliver impactful data visualisations that translate complex analytics into clear, accessible information for diverse stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for people data and analytics, managing ad-hoc data requests with professionalism and technical expertise.

Key Relationships - Direct Manager

Reports directly to Director of Human Resources Shared Services Management (HRSM), collaborating closely to align analytics initiatives with overall HR strategy and business goals.

This position currently has no direct reports but involves significant collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for effective delivery of analytics projects.

Key Relationships - Internal Stakeholders

Works in partnership with various teams within the Human Resources Division, as well as other relevant divisions throughout the Bank to support comprehensive talent management and organisational goals.

Key Relationships - External Stakeholders

There are no direct external stakeholder interactions required for this role; however, the position maintains awareness of industry standards and collaborates with external vendors through HRIS teams as needed.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or other related quantitative disciplines recognised for driving insightful analytics.
  • Brings over 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, programming, or data engineering, with demonstrated proficiency in constructing effective data solutions.
  • Preferred experience includes 1-2 years in Human Resources or People Analytics contexts, contributing to workforce-related analytical initiatives.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining complex data pipelines, ensuring streamlined and accurate data flow across systems.
  • Advanced technical skills encompassing programming languages and frameworks relevant to data engineering, such as Python, R, APIs, web scraping technology, and machine learning libraries.
  • Qualifications or certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) or specialised People Analytics training are advantageous, enhancing understanding of HR processes and practices.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills in English, meeting organisational language proficiency standards, facilitating effective collaboration and reporting.
