Expert, Financial Crime Compliance Surveillance and Investigation

Job Purpose

1) Ensure financial crime compliance surveillance and investigation to comply with internal regulations, legal regulations, and international practices and in line with TCB's risk appetite.
2) Develop monitoring programs and measures to identify, and warn early to prevent and reduce risks related to financial crimes for banks
3) Contributing to promoting a culture of compliance, proactively identifying and preventing risks of employees across the bank in terms of monitoring and investigating compliance with financial crimes

Key Accountabilities (1)

- Perform independent investigations of complex/critical cases, analysis, and evaluation of clients/customer transactions using other internal and external systems and databases to ensure that risks are identified and that appropriate risk containment measures are in place
- Support investigation, supervision, quality of investigative work, and decisions/results of senior officers/officers.
- Make recommendations to management on making suspicious transaction reports
- Report to all levels/stakeholders on risk status in customer segments,
- Financial crime risk assessment across several areas when advice on establishing/resuming/terminating a customer relationship is given, showing special consideration for the reputation of the Bank, its customers, and its assets of the Bank.
- Support and guide the units on the investigation process, supervision, and implementation of post-investigation handling measures.
- Ensure Investigative Activities are carried out within the SLA and uphold security standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the leaders

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

- Graduated from university majoring in Law, Economics, Foreign Relations, Finance - Banking, Business Administration

- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in related positions in the field of AML and experience in the fields of investigation and compliance monitoring

- Foreign language (English): Minimum TOEIC 650 or equivalent 

- ACAMS /Advanced CAMS- Financial Crime investigations
