Job Purpose
Primarily accountable for the formulation and execution of ESG strategy for CIBG customers to contribute to achieving financial and non-financial targets of economic sectors; participate to buid and deliver activities of develop capabilities related to ESG.
Key Accountabilities (1)
Development of Sustainable Credit and Finance Solutions
- Contribute to the development of policy frameworks and sustainable finance products, including green credit, social loans, and sustainability-linked loans (SLLs).
- Participate in the development, review, and enhancement of the Bank’s internal policies and procedures related to sustainable finance.
- Advise on and structure green/sustainable finance transactions for Techcombank’s corporate clients.
- Provide advisory services, training, and support to corporate clients in accessing and utilizing sustainable finance solutions.
Key Accountabilities (2)
Sustainable Finance Portfolio Management
- Manage the Bank’s green credit and sustainable finance portfolio and pipeline.
- Monitor and manage the allocation of green capital to eligible projects in accordance with specific funding sources and investor/donor requirements.
- Prepare internal monitoring and reporting related to the Bank’s sustainable finance activities.
Business Unit Coordination and Support
- Coordinate with and support business units in assessing and advising on environmental and social (E&S) issues for Techcombank’s corporate clients.
Key Accountabilities (3)
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare reports on green credit and sustainable finance in accordance with the requirements of state regulators and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of external disclosures related to sustainable finance and ESG.
Internal Training and Capacity Building
- Develop training materials and directly deliver internal training on ESG, green credit, and sustainable finance for Bank staff.
Other Responsibilities

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
- Degree: University degree in Foreign Trade / Economics / Finance / Banking / Environmental Science. Master degree is preferred
- Experience: At least 8+ years of working experience in the fields related to the environment, society and governance such as environmental protection, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, risk management or project management consulting.
- Preferred experience in:
- Developing sustainable finance products, green credit, and ESG-related initiatives;
- Working with international organizations/financial institutions or in overseas working environments.
- Possess ESG-related certificates namely: CFA – Sustainable Investing, GARP – Sustainability & Climate Risk or other relevant certificates
- Foreign language (English): TOEIC minimum 550 or other equivalent certificates (IELTS, TOEFL,..)
