Expert, Business Analysis - Insurance Solution
Job Purpose
This role is designed to proactively drive and take end‑to‑end ownership of key initiatives to ensure the safe, efficient, and customer‑centric development, enhancement, and implementation of insurance operational processes, systems, and solutions (for both life and non‑life insurance) within the bank. The role ensures strict regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and delivers sustainable value for Techcombank, our customers, and our insurance business in the long term
Key Accountabilities (1)
1. Develop & Improve Insurance Business Processes
• Develop, review, improve, and issue high‑quality insurance operational documents (e.g., distribution processes, contract amendments, renewals, underwriting guidelines, complaints handling, claims procedures) to ensure safety, consistency, and regulatory compliance. • Work closely with insurance partners and internal teams to ensure all processes align with business needs, legal requirements, and deliver a seamless, customer‑centric experience.
2. Contribute to Development & Enhancement Application Systems
• Propose creative and practical application development/improvement requirements to support sales and enhance customer experience.
• Conduct user surveys, analyze feedback systematically and thoroughly, and propose improvements or new features.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), develop detailed and user-friendly manuals, and coordinate rigorous acceptance testing.
3. Contribute to the development of Insurance solution and partnership collaboration.
• Provide proactive, expert input during the development and enhancement of insurance products, partnership agreements, and the onboarding/offboarding of insurer partners to strengthen customer satisfaction and operational safety.
• Organize and coordinate effective internal collaboration and alignment with insurance partners within assigned areas to ensure smooth, compliant, and customer‑centric operations.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
• Proactively assess business risks, identify compliance obligations, and recommend practical, effective control measures.
• Manage risks within assigned areas to ensure full adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to evaluate sales force service quality and compliance; propose and follow through on improvement actions.
5. Participate in internal Communication & Reporting
• Prepare and deliver periodic reports and professional, engaging internal communications to ensure accurate, clear, and complete information sharing across relevant stakeholders.
6. Business Analysis & Improvement Proposals
• Analyze business performance data logically and strategically, integrating market trends and business priorities to provide practical, high‑value improvement recommendations.
7. Internal Professional Consulting
• Provide accurate, timely, and actionable professional advice to internal teams, especially in special, urgent, or complex situations, ensuring safe, compliant, and customer‑centric decision‑making.
8. Other tasks/projects as required in insurance

Managing Stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and process improvements by leveraging organization data to drive business solutions.
Identify and communicate to stakeholders the insights from opportunities and obstacles perspectives based on market data gathered.
Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in insurance, banking, business analysis, product ownership, or Bancassurance business development. Experience working with insurance partners or implementing bancassurance in banks is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding and structured thinking of insurance business processes, particularly within a banking environment.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Professional communication skills, effective teamwork, and proactive, flexible project coordination capabilities.
• Logical thinking, strong problem‑solving skills, and practical, solution‑oriented mindset
Preferred candidates with:
