Job Purpose
(This position is open for both Senior Manager and Director level)
- The job holder plans the overall strategic internal communication for the bank in alignment with business strategy, brand positioning, and corporate culture.
- The job holder develops and leads enterprise-wide internal communication strategy to inspire employees, strengthen engagement, and support organizational transformation.
- The job holder ensures all internal communication content is consistent, accurate, and aligned with the bank’s purpose, values, and strategic direction.
- The job holder establishes governance, manages risks, and oversees execution of all internal communication activities across the bank.
Key Accountabilities (1)
1. Plan and lead enterprise internal communication strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy aligned with corporate strategy and brand orientation.
- Build and drive enterprise narrative (purpose, vision, transformation agenda) to enhance employee engagement and cultural alignment.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership (ExCo/BOD) on internal communication, employee engagement and change communication.
- Ensure consistent delivery of key messages across all internal channels and business units.
- Lead large-scale internal communication programs supporting transformation initiatives across the bank.
2. Content, channels and engagement management
- Develop and oversee internal communication content strategy across all platforms (digital channels, events, leadership messaging…).
- Ensure messaging consistency with corporate brand positioning and communication principles.
- Drive innovative communication approaches to enhance employee experience and engagement.
- Manage end-to-end internal campaigns, including planning, implementation, measurement and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of communication initiatives and recommend improvements.
3. Governance and risk management
- Establish internal communication governance frameworks, processes, and guidelines across the bank.
- Identify and manage communication risks that may impact employee trust, engagement, or organizational stability.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant dissemination of internal information.
- Coordinate closely with Corporate Communications to ensure alignment between internal and external messaging.
- Manage internal communication data, systems and knowledge repositories.

4. People Management
- Oversee human resources planning and execution (headcount & costs) of the Internal Communications function.
- Attract, onboard and retain high-performing talents to build a strong communication team.
- Establish and communicate function and individual KRAs/KPIs, goals, action plans, expectations and results to reporting lines.
- Manage team performance and provide regular feedback following performance management cycles.
- Define capability requirements and drive team development through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions toward shared goals.
- Identify and develop talent pipeline and succession plans within the function.
- Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at function level.
5. Create an effective working environment
- Promote a collaborative, high-performance working environment within the function.
- Improve operational efficiency through effective communication, coordination, and alignment across teams.
- Guide and supervise team members to deliver their responsibilities effectively.
- Address behavioral or performance issues in alignment with corporate values and culture.
- Implement personal and team capability development plans aligned with organizational goals.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related fields, preferably in banking or financial services; or big size company from 3000 employees.
- At least 5–8 years in leadership roles managing large teams and enterprise-level programs.
- Proven experience in advising senior leadership on strategic communication and organizational transformation.
- Strong understanding of employee engagement, culture transformation and internal communication best practices.
- Excellent command of English and Vietnamese. English TOEIC minimum 700.
