Job Purpose

As the Director of HR Business Partner, you will lead a team of HR Business Partners and play a crucial role in driving the strategic alignment of HR initiatives with organizational goals. The incumbent provides leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure the effective delivery of HR services across the organization. 

Key Accountabilities (1)

1. Strategic Partner:

 - Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational success. 

 - Lead the development and implementation of HR initiatives supporting organizational growth, performance, and consistency. 

2. Employee Champion:

 - Advocate for employees' needs, concerns, and well-being within the organization. 

 - Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners in resolving complex employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment. 

Key Accountabilities (2)

3. Change Agent:

 - Drive and manage change initiatives, ensuring consistency in approach and communication. 

 - Facilitate change management processes and provide support to HR Business Partners in guiding their respective areas through periods of change. 

4. Talent Manager:

 - Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development. 

 - Support the development of succession plans and talent development programs

5. Culture Steward: 

 - Promote and foster a positive organizational culture aligned with the company's values and goals. 

 - Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.  

Key Accountabilities (3)

PEOPLE MANAGER

- Oversee human resources planning and execution (headcount & costs) of their function/ sub-function

- Attract, onboard and retain the right talents for a high-performing team

- Establish and communicate sub-function/ function and individual KRAs/ KPIs, goals, action plan, expectations and results to reporting line

- Manage sub-function/ function performance & provide feedback regularly (following the annual performance management cycle)

- Define team’s capability requirements and enable team member’s professional and personal development through capability assessment, training, coaching & feedback, mentoring, etc.

- Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions towards the team’s shared goals

- Responsible for developing talents within the function/ sub-function

- Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at function/ sub-function level

- Understand & communicate relevant HR offerings to team members

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

Domain Expertise

 - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 

 - HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus. 

 - 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles with at least 6 years experiences

 - Demonstrated experience in strategic HR Business Partnering.           
  
 - Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.  

 - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
