Job Purpose

The job holder's responsibility is to create engaging, persuasive, and high-quality written content for digital platforms. You will work closely with other marketing and product development teams to develop compelling copy that effectively promotes the bank's products, services, or brand. Your writing should align with the bank's tone and style, while delivering key messages to target audiences across various digital channels.

Key Accountabilities (1)

- Content Creation: Produce original, creative, and attention-grabbing copy for digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media channels, email campaigns, and online advertisements.
- Copy Editing and Proofreading: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines by reviewing and revising content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
- SEO Optimization: Incorporate relevant keywords and implement basic search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve content visibility and organic search rankings.
- Audience Research: Conduct research to understand the target audience, their needs, preferences, and behaviors in order to tailor the content effectively.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and style across all digital platforms, ensuring that the organization's messaging is clear and cohesive.
- Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as designers, marketers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and ensure accurate representation of products, services, or ideas.
- Content Strategy: Contribute to content strategy development by providing insights on content trends, best practices, and emerging digital platforms.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital content using appropriate analytics tools, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, digital marketing techniques, and content marketing best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of content.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

- Proven Experience: Previous experience as a copywriter, preferably in a digital content creation role, with a portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Strong copywriting skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
- SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
- Digital Savviness: Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and platforms, including content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt writing style and tone to suit different platforms and target audiences, while maintaining brand consistency.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous proofreading and editing skills to ensure error-free and polished content.
- Research Skills: Ability to conduct audience research and gather relevant information to create compelling content.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
