Advisor, Talent Management & Development
Job Purpose
'The Advisor, Talent Management & Development is responsible for maximizing values of Talent and uplift Bank performance by building a future-ready, high-performing, and highly engaged workforce that enables the bank’s strategic ambitions.
This role leads the design and execution of an integrated talent strategy across the full employee lifecycle; including identifying, developing, engaging, and mobilizing talent. This is done through end-to-end programs and offerings that align people capabilities with current and future business needs.
This role translates strategic EVP and segmentation goals into actionable plans by overseeing talent assessments, development programs, and succession strategies. Partner with business lines to ensure alignment with performance and capability requirements, enabling the organization to identify, grow, and retain critical talent pools effectively
Key Accountabilities
Leading/ Consulting on Strategic execution and governance of TM&D framework and functions include:
1. Manage Employee Segmentation and EVP Strategy
• Manage segmentation framework and governance
• Develop and maintain EVP tailored to segments
• Deliver prioritized EVP roadmap and initiatives
• Monitor and report on EVP impact and adoption
2. Manage Employee Segments Identification
• Manage employee segment persona definitions
• Develop and implement identification methodology
• Deliver segment mapping in partnership with HR and divisions
• Monitor effectiveness of identification process
3. Manage Employee Segments Development
• Assess proficiency using competencies and skills frameworks
• Develop learning roadmaps for each segment
• Deliver training and development interventions
• Monitor learning impact and close competency gaps
4. Manage Talent Pipeline via Succession Planning and Employee Mobilization
• Manage succession planning tools and processes
• Develop and implement internal mobility programs
• Deliver talent reviews and succession updates
• Monitor and improve access to talent across divisions
Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
'- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related disciplines
- Professional certification from CIPD, SHRM, ATD and other reputable human resources organizations is preferred
- At least 15 years of experience in Talent Development, Performance Management, Learning and Development
- Managerial experience is preferred
- Knowledge of banking and financial services, technology or fintech is preferred
- Experienced in talent management practices and EVP offering design
- Experienced in instructional design methodology, learning application methodologies and design frameworks
- Experienced in coaching, mentoring and counselling
- Business English standard of proficiency as required for the role
