UI Designer

Objective

- The job holder will assist in designing user centric products with Developers to deliver easy-to-use products for the business.
- The job holder will be heavily involved in conducting user experience research and tests to develop the overall wireframes, specifications and user interface for Techcombank products including websites, software, hardware and tools.

Key accountabilities (1)

A. User Experience Design
- Participate in discussions with developers and squad members to understand business goals while effectively communicating design ideas.
- Assist in developing creative and new wireframes, user interface components and style guides based on business requirements.
- Conduct research and optimize existing user interface design while testing for intuitivity and experience.
- Assist in developing design concepts and implementation, providing input on user design considerations to more senior team members.
- Review changes or enhancements for alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards and suggest improvements.
- Assist in using design tools to create storyboards, samples, prototypes and templates for demonstrations and user testing.

B. Design Documentation
- Work closely with tribe members to gather and translate business requirements into design documents.
- Prepare functional requirement documents by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and guides for applications.

Qualification and Experiences

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Studies, Interaction Design, Multimedia Design or Motion Design
4 to 6 years of relevant experience in user experience design work
English proficiency requirements are pursuant to Techcombank's policy 
Experience and knowledge in work session design and facilitation skills
Experience on designing clear and creative artifacts (task flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes)
Basic knowledge in at least two visual design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, InVision, Sketch, Axure)
Basic knowledge in at least two programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Strong understanding of Agile principles, practices and Scrum methodologies.
Experience working in Agile teams to support digital transformation projects
