Officer, Risk Transformation (0912)

Job Purpose

  • The job holder evaluates, recommends and supports implementing the new standards in using data to replace or combine alternative data sources and traditional data in the risk management.
  • The job holder develops, maintains and enhances the risk data infrastructure, risk decision engine & lending platform at all levels to support automated and digitized lending process, debt collection and digital reminder operations.
  • The job holder will work closely with tribe members to understand business requirements to providing specific reports and analysis.

Key Accountabilities (1)

A. Data & decision:

  • Analyze and identify business problems and issues through internal and external data sources and provide insights to key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Defining data requirements for risk management systems, loan origination systems.
  • Coordinate with data division to build data model, data governance principles.
  • Conduct back-test and evaluate the quality and acruacial of data.
  • Build tools, reports to supports decision making
  • Configuring and administering credit risk decision-engine.

Key Accountabilities (2)

B. Digital & platform:

  • Participating as a member of strategic projects of the bank, especially digitization and automation projects
  • Support on design credit processes, debt collection and digital reminder processes
  • Participating in define business requirements, system features for loan origination system, digital reminder, debt collection systems, omni / multi-channel system.
  • Leveraging data platforms towards digitalization of the credit process
  • Collaborate with others for the implementation / application / training / coaching of digital system & platform.

Cross-functional teams within the Transformation Office, Digital Office, other functions within Risk Management Division

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

Domain Expertise:
- 03+ years of relevant experience in a bank or financial institution
- Experience in data analysis, design and implementation of risk models
- Experience in developing operational risk management tools and systems
- Experience in data / risk modelling and producing reports from data in the current systems
- Experience in risk model development using programming languages (e.g. R, Matlab, SAS, SQL, VBA, Python)
- Strong knowledge of banking operations.
Agile / Digital Experience:
- Understanding of Agile principles, practices and scrum methodology
- Experience working in Agile teams to support digital transformation projects is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, economics, risk management, statistics, mathematics or quantitative analysis
